The Left Bank

An early start to the day and the shining brightly on the obligatory Eiffel Tower shot.

Hiding behind me was a short but intense burst of rain, coming up behind Trocadero

Fortunately once it cleared it was blue skies again and a great chance to wander the left bank without any particular destination in mind but happening upon a few of the places I have been to before as well.

Stumbling upon les Invalides again.

As well as a chance to again stroll through Luxembourg gardens with much bluer skies.

you can rent a wooden toy sailboat to float on the pond…

The lively atmosphere of Rue Mouffetard

And finishing up at Les Jardine des Plantes (the aptly named garden of plantes) and Gare D’Austerlitz where I could pick my Metro line home.
