A former railway, turned into park, two and a half stories above ground. Just across the river near the Gare D’Austrelitz is this interesting building. Though the clouds were rolling in, there was still some time in the afternoon to get a few external shots of the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens.

Bucharest has a great botanical garden – this is a country that really seems to love its rose gardens. Also taking in a production of Verdi’s Don Carlo at the State Opera.

The Haussmann architecture and mansard roofs…feels great to be back in Paris. Though certainly moving from the summer heat of Rome to the fall temperatures of Ile-de-France.
